Thanks Mike, glad to hear from you again. This problem with the
burred vision has been going on for years. Some days are worse then
others. But it didn't start until I started taking Gleevec. I
just need to buy to different pairs of glasses.

Hi, I have some problems with vision blurring off and on. I do know
that I now need bi-focals -- that is a normal part of aging in my case, the
blurring, however, has always struck me as a side-effect because of its
fleeting, cyclical nature.

I had to go for a medical examination , and was told that the water
retention caused by Glivec can cause the lens to distort slightly.

For anyone who is having blurred vision from water retention, I doubt if it
from the Gleevec only. There are little cones directly under the top layer
of cornea whose sole purpose on this earth is to keep out excess water from
accumulating under the cornea. You can retain water everywhere
Hey Greenie,
Over the past year suddenly my eyes got really blurry and I couldnt read a lot of things I have always been able to, now the opt. says it is my age (soon to be 46) but I dont really know. Here lately it has gotten worse.
Hugs,
Katy
