Last week I couldn't get a new hose 2" connected to a new mixing

any other malfeasance, it won't be

You will need to determine where the issue lies either with the masthead or
the display. You will be able to test the masthead with the below test to
confirm it is work

The ST60 masthead xducer and cable can be bought separately. There are also
measurements that can beamed from the display end of the cable which will give
you some idea of what's going on. I'm at the yacht club having dinner and will
look them out later for you.

Colin,
When debugging a a ray wind instrument issue a couple of years ago I talked
to Terry at CMC (yeah I know not always the most helpful folks - but I've
had good success with them) He gave me a number of pin resistance readings
to test the transducer - may show if it's the transducer or ca

My Raymarine (ST60) wind transducer began dying a slow death after a
particularly breezy and rainy passage in the fall of 2011. By the fall of
2012, it was pretty much dead and while there was power at the display,
there was no data

Mark,
I had a look at mine this afternoon.
I couldn’t feel any bolts at all, just screws.
I would imagine that it is very similar to Dennis’s Taffrail replacement shown
on the Photo Album web site.
Remove the wood bungs and there will probably be brass Robertson (square) head
screws holdin
BTW, it's notable that Mike posted that video on YouTube under his own
name, just to invite these discussions. The guy has two broken legs,
and decided to post the video because he isn't to proud to say he made a
mistake.

Right. And it's important to remember that this is a casual cruiser's

Before I install a stern rail on my '73 C&C 25 I want to replace the two teak
strips across the top of the transom. They've been sanded down over time to
half their original thickness. I'm going to pull some off a salvage boat that
are in far better shape. They have bungs in them so I assume
Fwiw. I find silicone unreliable in marine applications when it is immersed in
water. Works well for bedding hatches. But not much else.

harm the transducer over time or just that it might break free easier.I will
have one in epoxy for this year anyway, just hope the silicone will not
destroy the one I attached with it.

The helming looked like slow to me too but one other thing comes to mind, lack
of situational awareness. The helmsman was likely unable to see the other boat
and perhaps should have been on the low side. Also there was not enough
