Is it important that the hole in the deck lines up with the hole in the
cabin liner?
On my MKII it seems like the hole in the deck is forward of the circular
pattern of ¼ inch holes in the cabin liner below and that worked OK with the
dorade box and it works with the mushroom
I placed my order Wednesday. The confirmation came last night. I'm hoping
it ships today or tomorrow.

the outflow location down below, which is normal for dorades; that's how
they separate the water from the air. You can get a surface-mount dorade
from Nicro that will let you keep that configuration, but if you want to

I'm not sure you need a customs broker. I've brought my last 2 boats back
from the US without a broker and it's not a difficult process. (I also
have brought a couple of cars back from the US, too)
One was on her own bottom and one on a trailer. Clearing by water is a
piece of cake.
Thanks all! Not ready to pull the trigger on anything yet. Still too many
various options on the list in terms of life choices right now to commit to
this plan. I'm just trying to take all the details into account. I'm a
spreadsheet kind of guy.

It needs to have the cellular capability. That incorporates the gps. I don't
think you need to activate a cellular data plan for the gps to work.
