I am sitting here in my C C 41 in our dock in Detroit looking at the base of
the mast. This boat is a long time vetran of Great Lakes Racing and has done
many Mackinac races. Rules require the steped mast be secued at the base and at
the deck. We have a welded steel box 16 1/2 x
My son's laptop dual boots to Windows 7 and Linux Mint. The various Linux
installers will see Windows already there and ask if you want to do a
dual-boot install. Adobe has Linux versions of their software and Mint comes
with LibreOffice. LibreOffice can be set to save in Microsoft Office formats

Thanks to all - a small wheel puller plate with the right bolts let us
get the coupler off the shaft, much like several helpful suggesions. REALLY
GLAD I did this, pulled off the 34 yr old aging stiff packing gland hose
and found it just barely covered a small hole in the boat - unusually poor

Hello all
A few years back I think I read a post from someone who claimed
that they found a place that sold very high quality Butyl rubber.
I have looked all over my records for the website that sold this stuff and I
can't locate it does anyone remember that information? I would like
Pride Marine in Kingston Ontario did have it. They are under a new name and
owners, but a Google search on the old name will still send you to the right
place.

tape is pretty good stuff. Never tried it but 3M's reputation is good.

My original bill of sale was in the build file I bought from Southshore. On
March 9, 1984 an order to CC from DK yachts in Winnipeg for a White 27-5 with
Bering blue stripes. The timing would have made it a boat show order. The
basic boat was $28,950 plus $8,255 in optional equipment. Total,
