I think Shields makes the hose specific to holding tank hoses, to mitigate the smell.I don't think when these boats were built there were hoses made specifically for holding tanks. you have to be careful with some of the fittings that are made for these thanks, because some of them are actually 1 5

The Shields 101 hose is the most popular sanitation hose that should not permeate the smell from the holding tank. The 102 is the same hose, but white. There are other decent sanitation hoses, but none of them is cheap. Count on about $10/ft minimum and close to $20 on the high end. Some other
