If you like a large contingent of C&Cs in one place, visit Ottawa. There are over 60 C&Cs of different size in our Club (Nepean Sail Club) alone. I think that the C&C 27 fleet on the Lake is 50+ strong (they run a Nepean One Design races all season long). Not that you could sail to here. Marek

I always found that pressure washing sufficed, especially if the operator was attentive, and any remaining bits easily wiped off in the spring with a scotchbrite pad.  I had our C&C 27 MKIII in Chicago for 15 years with VC17, and gave it a fresh coat every year.  YMMV, Bruce Whitmore (847)

If I could suggest, a trailer to store the boat would be a somewhat expensive option. If you are not moving it far, you may opt for a cradle and transfer the boat with the cradle to the storage location. A ballpark figure for a cradle is around $500-$800 (CAD); a trailer is more like a few $k.
