Mike, why not stick as round on the list. After owning and avid sailing of your
C for many years, you have a lot of experience. There may be a newer owner
that needs the exact answer to a question you might provide. Like maybe me. I
doubt anyone would object.. TedTen-Ten. 81 40-2Punta Gorda
Would you have made that trip; without an AIS device? I suspect that the boat
is easy to find.

Sorry for the confusion. I did use a whole saw though.

Second happiest day of your life is when you sell a boat?
All the best mike - oddly enough I met a couple yesterday who were passing
through Whitby Ontario, sailing their newly acquired 37 back to Toronto.
Yours?

I discovered from older pictures that my 39 had the cowl vents removed during
races, I assumed because of sheets catching on them. I didn’t put them back in,
and discovered that they had become cup (beer) holders. So I put some tan
starboard over them, with a hole where the cowl was, and SS
Well that’s a whole ’nother level.
Perhaps the original poster Dave, who knows Kim Steeby, will have a chance to
speak with him sometime about the voyage and rescue, and could provide an
update.

So, keeping the conspiracy thread alive.that video seems too "well done" , do you think a tanker keeps a film crew on board
That said, there's a lot of positive PR perks to have a video of your freighter crew saving a helpless boater...
Or, maybe this could
Richard, on my 38MKII, I did remove the Dorado boxes themselves.there is a hole in your cabin ceiling under one end of the box.
The Marinco solar vents work great and have a nice smooth stainless cover on deck.
We did mine about 5 years ago and they
Mike – it’s always sad to see someone give up their C for one reason or

and chat.
Enjoy your Land Yacht. It will bring you a lot of new adventures.

David,
You're not being a jerk, just asking what we were all wondering. The boat
seemed sound, with solar and wind, sails intact and engine running.
Personally, I would not do the trip solo, and certainly not on a 35 footer,
but that is a whole different question.

Sad to see you go
Good luck rving

It is with mixed emotions that I inform you we have sold Persuasion. We
had the privilege of enjoying her for 15 years and capturing many
memories. Our kids and now our grand-kids spent many enjoyable hours
aboard. We made two trips to the Bahamas and Persuasion kept us
Must admit I’m also curious, would like to understand (and ultimately avoid)
whatever caused this adventure to go amiss.

I am still confused as to why he did not know whether BMD would or would not
take him before he disembarked. And why he just did not sail back to port when
he found out he could not enter.
Being rescued because your tired?
If I was the owner of that
Richard I replaced both cowl vents with stainless low profile vents. Looks
great till you lose one. Had s/s guards fabricated and have not one since then.
