Tom, It sounds to me like you have some "sludge” in the lines that is slowing the fuel flow. Replace the filters (Racor and the one on the engine), flush the lines as best you can, get all the air our of the system and see how that goes. It may be time for a fuel tank cleaning or fuel

The same thing happened to Trillium many years ago. Ended up paying a yard to clean out the tank, which solved the problem. Then a few years later replaced the tank completely when we rebuilt the engine. When removing the tank I put my finger through the bottom! At that point the tank was 40 years

Change the filters as numero uno step.  Engine hours doesnt correlate to filter health.  I replace annually to just avoid them being the problem child.Blow out the line to make sure.  Also, any chance that you have air getting into the line?  Check your points of access, Racor, filter housings,
