would barely work when I bought the boat, and that I'd replace it very quickly.
WRONG! It works amazingly well with one exception, large, confused following
seas. Once I balance the boat the 3000 keeps a heading amazingly

I am glad to hear of someone using a SPX-5 autopilot on a Landfall 38.I
installed a SPX-5 on a C&C 29-1 and after 2.5 years it started having problems.
