Always pleasantly surprised at the speed of the C&C. This past Sunday with 10
to 15kn wind I was sailing from Shelter Island with a friend in a 92 Morris
Justine. On the a 13 mile run between Orient Point and Westbrook CT on a beam
to close reach the C&C Landfall consistently outpaced the Morr
Change your air filter. Engine not getting enough air. Simple first step.

After sailing ? For a week total 8-10 hours on a Bristol 45 When I returned
home yesterday after 6 hour glassy motor wind kicked up to a perfect 11-14knt
so I jumped on Halcyon who was left at the dock Solo and Chased down a brand
new Hunter 336 with my 37 last night ! No competition although
Starboard side of the engine. Intake faces forward. Of course engine is
installed backwards with the V Drive.

According to PHRF NE ratings, the Beneteau should be equal in speed, while the
Hinckley 35 is 40 seconds per mile slower and the Jeauneau should be 40 seconds
per mile faster. Assuming equal crew experience you must have found your boat’s
sweet spot.

37+ Sapphire. I had the same pleasure sailing home. However motor there
wasn’t as enjoyable.
