As our Aft Cabin mirror is plastic we just cut a hole through the mirror
itself for the A/C vent. It looks fine.

Chuck,
That is the best place to do it — and I’ve seen others there.
The only problem I’ve heard of is the need to install new thru hulls for the AC
as it’s not a good idea to share your engine intake.
Take lots of photos.

conditioner installation located in aft cabin hanging locker, and would
like to move it to have the storage. The space under the companionway is
open. I'm thinking I could install AC unit in the space below companionway
