One of my better tool expenditures was getting a Harbor Freight hydraulic wire crimper. I have saved quite a bit of money and time by being able to crimp fittings on 6/4/2/1/0 gauge wire. Not only do I not have to pay the battery shop, I don't have to drive there and hope I got the wire length

In no particular order...ice pick; 12" length of 1" stainless tube to help with seacocks; set of stubby wrenches in metric and useless; big fing hammer, big fing adjustable wrench, big fing set of waterpump pliers, bit fing screwdrivers in Philips and useless; crying towel. Jim Watts Paradigm

In the nav station drawer... Small Vise grips with integral wire cutter. Shackles, seizing wire, holding nut whilst turning bolt or tightening/loosening screw, various other tasks fits in pocket. Quality Multi bit screw driver and Allen key set. Coupla’ very sharp knives. Head lamp.

We all have our favorite tools we keep on the boat. Here's two of mine that I use frequently. Fluke 101 multimeter. For years I kept a $20 multimeter from a big box store on the boat in a zip lock bag. It worked fine. A few months ago I bought a Fluke 101 on Amazon for $40. MUCH better
