We found some stuff at Walmart that's used to get rid of pet and vomit smells
that worked very well to get rid of diesel smell in clothing that had been
soaked. I bet it would work well on your bilges. I use 409 or Fantastik to keep
the engine clean

Two years ago I had the aluminum fuel tank replaced with a fiberglass tank. I
started noticing the smell of diesel the year before, the Admiral noticed it
more than me. The bilge area under the engine started showing signs of diesel
and it got worst over time. The aluminum tank was pulled by the
