I wanted to report back on my solution to the masthead light problem. I needed
to go up about 1.5” so I ended up buying a waterproof aluminum box from
Polycase that mounted nicely on the top of the mast and I mounted the light on
top of that. The wires all stuffed nicely in side. I am
Touche's anchor light is mounted above and off to the side of the masthead
on a simple metal bracket. See:

Been a while but I think it's just a piece of aluminum or stainless with
