The mast step on my 35MKII is original. There is a keel bolt under the mast an therefore inaccessible with the mast in and there is another keel bolt which is accessible mast in just aft of the mast and thru the mast step. I do not have the added connection between the mast and the mast step. That

A fine looking example with some nice upgrades. I noticed the new SS mast step, which appears to have a keel stud/nut aft of the mast. Mine is under the mast (or so I'm told...), so does this mean that a new stud was tapped into the keel at this point? Certainly easier to check torque in that
