I have a 30-2 and the stuff box was leaking noticeably all last season. While
periodic tightening helped, I'm guessing it's time to renew the packing.
And While a dripless seal would be great, it's not in the boat "budget".
Any thoughts to share on preferred packing

Have used GFO packing for years. It seems to be better than the standard
flax packing.

Thanks for the feedback on the emergency tiller. Now I have a new question
about packing material for the stuffing box. Does anyone know the proper size
packing material for a 1979 CC 34 with an atomic 4 engine?
