two years (which is as long as I've owned it); standard routine maintenance and

OK, here's my problem
Even though diesel is not as flammable as gas, USCG and ABYC have tighter specs
as far as non-ignition sources in marine engine spaces vs. terrestrial
applications like tractors, etc.
