I have Lewmar line control Genoa cars and a Harken traveler. No comparison. The Harken car is 100% easier to move even under load. I wish I’d thrown some extra $$$ at the Genoa cars and gotten a Harken system. You can do what you want but I’m not a big fan of Lewmar cars. Dennis C. Touché

Hi Chuck, On my LF38, When I removed the old track several bolts broke off. I sent the old track to Garhauer to have the new track drilled with the mounting holes in different locations. Guido did this at no additional charge. I then added a piece of 1 in square aluminum tubing to raise the track
