We replaced the main traveler with a Garhauer. Sent the old track to Guido, he
matched the mounting holes and sent the new track back. Fit perfectly.

I have Lewmar line control Genoa cars and a Harken traveler. No comparison. The
Harken car is 100% easier to move even under load. I wish I’d thrown some extra
$$$ at the Genoa cars and gotten a Harken system.
You can do what you want but I’m not a big fan of Lewmar cars.

Hi Chuck,
On my LF38, When I removed the old track several bolts broke off. I sent
the old track to Garhauer to have the new track drilled with the mounting
holes in different locations. Guido did this at no additional charge. I
then added a piece of 1 in square aluminum tubing to raise the track
Call Garhauer. Theirs are cheaper, great quality and service is excellent. I
went for a MT-1 traveller. Speak to Guido. You will need exact details of the
location of the bolt holes so that they can duplicate the bolt pattern of your
existing track. I will send a PM to you with a copy of my
