last me 4-5 years here in the PNW. Oh and then only knock off the hard stuff. I
leave the slime to sluff off during cruising.

I always buy 2 gallons. Plenty of extra to double coat at the waterline
and leading edges. You'll also need some under the jackstand pads.
I didn't paint last year. Lasted fine.
