My Nicro 4" solar vent, maybe 4 years old, would not run this season.
I replaced the NI-MH C cell, left it switched off for a couple days to
charge in the sun, and turned it on - it wiggles back and forth a little,
but doesn't rotate - same as the with the old battery.
Ideas? solutions?

Has anyone installed a Nicro solar vent through the cabin roof over the head?
Is the cabin roof cored? About how thick? I have an 1986 27-V. Jerry.

I have a 1986 27-V. I have a 1/2 diameter hole in the head area where
the VHF cable passes through. I'll see if I can get some sort of
measurement of the thickness this weekend. I would guess from memory
that it is probably about 3/4 inch thick, and it is definitely cored.
