No sage sparrow found this morning at 8:30am. Quite windy. Ran into Dave
Chartier and Steve Brown also looking. I left before them, perhaps they got
some looks after I left.

I went back to the site at around noon with no better luck. The wind had died
down somewhat, but was still occasionally gusty.

I was working at home a moment ago when I heard a jumble of song
outside in my backyard. I half-consciously ID'ed the singer as a
Lesser Goldfinch, and kept working. Then, a short while later, I

A Turkey Vulture soared over our home at 1200 Stover St. in Fort Collins at
about 4:00 pm on the afternoon of Thurs., Feb. 26, 2008, then continued north a
short distance where it circled around the site of the former roost on East
Elizabeth before disappearing from view.
