Hi Cobirders
A decent day here on the ranch. Lots of birds moved off overnight and only a
few new arrivals. 29 birds banded with top honors going to mountain ssp Hairy
Woodpecker and a Least Flycatcher. I ended yesterday with 10 species of
warblers, today I could muster just 3.

Nick Komar just called me to tell me he found a Red Knot out at
Timnath Reservoir this morning (not sure what time), in the NE corner
of the reservoir where there's an open view from the unfinished
housing development looking westward. This is the same spot where you

workshop, I got to witness an amazing congregation of Barn Swallows at Greenlee
Preserve, Boulder County, at sundown (=moonrise) today, Friday, Sept. 4th.

This morning I found a Black Phoebe near the MacKenzie Ave parking area for
the Canon City Riverwalk. I also still have a Black Phoebe on my friend's
property near Canon City. I didn't find the Black Phoebe that has been near
the MacKenzie bridge this morning but it could have just been loafing
