the juveniles for a while. They are busy fishing the lake and leaving fish
scraps (and sometimes whole fish) behind in all of our yards. At this time, I
rarely see both adults together. But there are definitely two

Hi all,
I briefly birded Fountain Creek Regional Park, Colorado Springs, this morning.
At 8:20 am, I heard a Winter Wren singing. I made some smacking noises and
waited a few minutes. I then saw the wren moving around at the base of
a willow tree with cocked tail. I observed the bird for

They would alight on the tops of a large group of Mullens. In that group I
only saw TWO females.
Also observed among the Tree Swallows were two Bank Swallows.

Hi COBirders,
Had an FOS Turkey Vulture circle low over the backyard this morning in NW
Colorado Springs. It then disappeared to the North.
(except for a pair of local Red-tails, that is all I've seen for my hawkwatch
the last two days, too)

Hi Everyone--
I went up to look at the fields along CO-257 this morning 4/3. I learned
that the gull bonanza is an afternoon event, so I went over to Lower Latham

then out to the Pawnee Grasslands (four McCown's

Ponds 1-4 are south of
