Observatory.
Highlight species include (*Denotes
Yesterday 7AM, 2 Black Swifts again returned to Lake Beckwith, Colorado City,
SW Pueblo County. 1st half of August is a fairly reliable time to see them at
the Lake, especially on cool cloudy mornings when many swallows are flying
about.

The famous Pacific Loon is still enjoying McIntosh Lake in Longmont as of 10am
this morning. I was able to find him in the westernmost arm of the lake out
about 100 yards from the dam with my scope from the last parking area close to
the lake and dam on Lakeshore Drive. A half
I got back to the US yesterday and started up Cobirds and what do I find but a
PALO in Longmont. So I unpacked my bins and headed up to the lake. As Larry
reported earlier the loon is still at the west end of the lake. Not sure of the
history of this bird, but on July 6th while running Foxy
