Hi Everyone--
Early this morning 6/11, I went over to Pella Crossing south of Hygiene on

I visited Colorado and birded the areas around Grand Junction (Mesa

This morning the Yellow-crowned Night Heron seemed in absentia, until it left
its nest to gather some sticks in the trees east of the pond. It then returned
to its nest, which is the upper most nest on the right as you face the island
from the north. The bird is quite difficult
hi Cobirders My son Bob and his wife Sondra and this morning saw
two Green Herons along the west and north shore
of the big lake at Cottonwood Marsh. A Great Egret also show up on
the north shore.
I liked the 30 or more White Pelicans that were fishing on the lake
and some flying about.
