On a bike ride through Louisville this morning, I had a FOS singing
Bullock's Oriole in Warembourg Open Space north of Cherry St. Also present
was a Vesper Sparrow, Say's Phoebe, and a flock of Chipping Sparrows.
Notable was a complete lack of warblers along a riparian area (Coal Creek).

Hi COBirders,
Well, by now you've heard what a morning we had. Not a lot of birds, but an
interesting warbler flock of unusual single birds. Seen together in different
combinations : Nashville, Townsend's, Black-and-White, Worm-eating (recaptured,
and later seen throughout the grove),

Hi, COBirders~
On April 30, I heard the familiar chatter of Chimney Swifts over my house as I
was leaving for a morning walk. I had a visual on two of them, and now 2 days
later, I have heard more chatter overhead. So comforting to hear them back!

Wild Turkey is on the Hindsdale County list, but Bob and Bob do not show it
occurring in the county as of 1991, so I deduce that it must be rare. Most
of them live below 8,000 feet in Colorado.
I think that if they are in Hinsdale, they would be along the Piedra River,
which is the low
point of
