all back from Cortez.

a Tennessee Warbler just east of the dam on the Wilson Ave. end of the
trail. It was working through the trees right at the riverside.

While the Cortez birding festival is still in progress, I'll pass along a few
notable sightings. On 5/9 Totten Reservoir had 22 Forster's Terns in the
morning that increased to 32 at 7 PM - the highest number I've seen on the West
Slope. Also, present in the evening was a single

Went birding with a friend and at Crow Valley we saw a Western Palm Warbler
in the education area

structure in the dry creek bed.

During the Spring Count today, a group of us observed an adult male Blackpoll
Warbler feeding with a group of Yellow-rumped Warblers in the Boat Launch area
of Bear Creek Lake Park (BCLP). Other highlights of the Count Day included:

In my yard west of Berthoud,
approx. robin sized but more sleek, Grey/brown uniform back, white belly,

The DFO Spring Count trip today to Chatfield Reservoir State Park concluded

This morning, I went over to Main Reservoir and ran into Vince Friedman who had
just seen a Blackpoll Warbler. Within 15 minutes I was able to locate this
bird who was being harrased by the many Yellow-rumped Warblers. A few Western
Tanagers, Orange-crowned, and a Savannah Sparrow summed up
COBirders,
Over 30 people participated in the 23 Annual Spring Bird Count at Fountain
Creek Regional Park in El Paso County this morning. At the preliminary
count we had roughly 95 or 96 species for the day. Nine warblers, but we
did not see the signature poster bird for International Migratory
