Visited Belmar Historic Park/Kountze Lake in Lakewood on Sunday and Monday,

A small, blue spiral notebook was found at the trailhead of lower white ranch.
It was in the grass near the parking lot. I placed it up on a boulder on the
right side of the main trailhead by the parking lot. It starts with notes on

Good to be back watching birds in Colorado after a few months in the East.
I was glad to find this morning though that I brought a few eastern birds
back with me. Migration is alive and well at Fountain Creek, and there were
quite a few good birds around.
