Hi COBirders,
The sparrows continue. We didn't get the large flocks out in the open today,
but rather many when they came into the shade about 1100. Chipping and Brewer's
still dominate, but also today a large number of Wilson's Warbler, our expected
visitor.
Today we banded about 125 birds,
Just saw and photographed 4 Common Terns at Union Res. (Weld). One Black Tern
was at Little Gaynor Lake (Boulder).

After being alerted by another Evergreen birder, we found 8 Common Poorwill at
the Centennial Cone parking area at 8500 feet. Six heard calling at 8 pm. Found
two sitting on the road out of the parking area. Dry rocky shrubs and grassland
make it an ideal habitat.
