This morning (Tuesday) I spotted a Northern Waterthrush at Sell's Lake then
a female American Redstart, a first of the year bird. There was another
push of Wilson's Warblers that have been absent for a few days.
Yellow-rumps still in good numbers.

The last couple of days I have had a pair of Black-headed Grosbeaks in my
feeder. Also have been putting out oranges for the Bullock’s Orioles and they
are in profusion charming me. Added to seeing this splendid array of bird
color, hearing and seeing Yellow Warblers, Spotted Towhee. Oh how

Good afternoon, birders,
Given all of the action out in the Grasslands and down in Co Sprgs and Pueblo,
has anyone hit Bear Creek at all recently? Lair o'the Bear, etc.
I want to go do some fishing up there, but that won't be 'til afternoon. I was
wondering how the morning birds are showing?
One Black Swift flew over me while I conducted bird survey on Purdy Mesa

To add to Glenn's report I had two Ash-throated Flycatchers, and a Magnolia
