just west of S Yosemite Street and E Cherry Creek Drive. It was at the
east end of a big island, along the south creek bank and on the low dirt
trail, being pushed around be some much larger juncos. A junco knocked it

I spotted four turkeys yesterday in Fort Collins, walking past the patio of my
dermatologist’s office. (On Lemay, in between Riverside and Mulberry, right
along the Poudre river.) I caught a pic with my phone as they strutted past. So
funny to see them there! That’s a lot of brave turkeys wander

Earlier this morning (about 10 AM) a half dozen Sandhill Cranes were resting on
the eastern shoreline of Chatfield Reservoir just north of the Plum Creek delta.
Barring disturbance they may still be there.

Urling and I just saw the bird we think is an immature adult red necked grebe
on the Walker pit west of Franktown. Amid zillions of geese. Also redhead
