Eric - I found the (a?) Brant last month at the Fire Station just north of
there (NW corner of Plaza and Twenty Mile).

To be more specific: out of the parking lot, go right on the trail and
follow the creek. Take the dirt road to the right once you see the chain
link fence (about .5 mile in). Stay close to the creek and listen for the
unmistakable vocalizations.

About 30 minutes ago, I saw a Palm Warbler at the corner of Willow Lake Dr.
and Castlewood Canyon Rd.
As I exited the park, I first noticed a Mountain Bluebird. I slowed down
and noticed a smaller bird, perched on the barbed wire close to the ground.
My first thought was Pine Siskin. I stopped,
I've counted 13 terns at Pelican Point in Cherry Creek SP, and another 6 on
the west side of the lake. They all look like Common Terns, but I'm not an
expert. Just wanted to alert all the ternophiles out there that there is
plenty to look at currently.

I've had two or three Red-breasted Nuthatches daily at my feeders for the
last three weeks (Quincy Reservoir, Arapahoe County). Before they arrived,
I had never seen them here. No Pygmy's, but White-breasted Nuthatches are
regulars too.
They're great to watch: fearless of the much larger and more
-sided, Oregon, Gray-headed and Slate-colored)
friends.
