The town of Rocky Ford certainly has a lot of White-winged Doves this
winter, there were 181 counted at a roosting site in town on December 18,
2018, on the Rocky Ford Christmas Bird Count.

Anyone who can get here quickly, the first year Glaucous-winged Gull
continues at South Shore Marina tires, seen from main parking lot at the

The GOLDEN-CROWNED WARBLER was seen this morning, 24 May 2018, according to
this e-bird report. https://ebird.org/view/checklist/S45981319
Hopefully we'll here exactly where the bird was seen today, I'm guessing
the usual chokecherry patch west of County Road 9, North of the house.
Thanks for the update. Lots of people are still interested in seeing it in
the next few days and over the holiday weekend, I'm sure.

Convention Field Trip! Likely this is the rarest bird ever to show up in
Colorado, or at least one of the top few! Too bad the bird hides almost
all the time, though that is the typical thing for them. Good luck
everyone looking for it still!

Jim Merritt, Jeannie Mitchell, and Mary Ellen Moore were looking at an
adult male *Scarlet Tanager*, at the Chico Basin Ranch (fee area),
Headquarter Willows, when I walked up to them, early this afternoon. It
was very windy, so I didn't stay long to bird other parts of the ranch.
