Today on our bird walk, we met up with Greg Goodrich and his group. They
located 3 grosbeaks near the Nature Center along the canal and one of them
was a juv male Rose-breasted Grosbeak. Probably the same one that Meredith
banded yesterday.

A short time ago we had 25 -30 Pinyon Jays descend in our front yard to use
the birdbath (water feature). They stayed for only about 3 minutes. This

tree.
That's the 5th raptor species I have seen in that tree this year. 2

Then the usual directions apply. If you come from the north on Heritage

I think that the numbskulls need to be outed and treated as the pariahs

On our monthly bird walk today we had more than 50 Bald Eagles at Barr
Lake. Thousands of white-cheeked geese and a few Snows and Ross's.
The dark morph Rough-legged Hawk is still there and there was a Sharpie
raiding the bird feeders.
