I had WW Doves here all winter and I feel sure they nested somewhere in my
neighborhood but I couldn't find them. They are still here and I am pretty
sure some are young ones. I observed four at the feeder yesterday. As long as
I put out seed, they come. The Eurasion Collared Doves chase
I went out to fill my unique suet feeder and when I was about six feet away a
flock of
Bushtits flew in and were scavenging what was left and didn't seem to mind my
presence.
Wish I had my camera. When they left, I filled the feeder and a Downy,
Chickadees and
a Flicker all came within a
For several mornings I have had a flock of 15 - 18 or more White-winged doves
come to my platform feeder,
just about clean it out and leave.

This p.m. I have had three White-winged doves, a Townsend's Solitaire,
Steller's, Blue and Scrub Jays
lots of Juncos Mountain and BC Chickadees and the usuals. I very seldom get
a Steller's.

I have three White-winged doves at my feeder. I have had one off and on but

Kathy Miller and I birded Fountain Creek today and found the Pine Warbler
in the same area as previously reported. We also saw two Harris' Sparrows
along the dry ditch south of the waterfall perhaps halfway to Warbler alley.
They were both on the path resulting in very good looks. We did not see
