This coming Monday evening, September 28th, the DFO program meeting will
feature Ted Floyd, who will present a program on “Birding in the Post-Human
Age: Reflections on Who We Are, Who We Once Were, and Who We’re Going to
Become.”
The meeting starts at 7:30, in the Ricketson Auditorium of the

Streamflow correction:
The flow of the South Platte River below Chatfield was 1090cfs at noon
today (yes, it has decreased from about 2750cfs on June 10th), and the
streamflow at Waterton was 3520cfs. So the Corps is stripping about
1500cfs off the river (plus the Plum Creek and Deer Creek infl

The streamflow of the South Platte River below Chatfield Reservoir was 1090
cfs this morning. It has been running at bewteen 1020 and 1090 cfs since
the Corps cut the flow down from 2210 to 1600 to 1020 cfs on June 11th.

My brother just called to report that they had just seen the White Ibis at
Alamosa Ranch. It had flown off to another spot on the ranch a few minutes
before.

morning at 8:00am.
South side of the boardwalk (which is on the South side of Bass Lake), in the
wettest area, within 10-15' of the boardwalk. Adult Virginia Rail and two
