today. Will update later with anything else good.

I stopped at Belmar Park, Jefferson Co. briefly this morning and a Ross's
Goose flew by in a small flock of Canada Geese. It didn't land at Belmar,
but was flying NE and fairly low. I suspect it's in the vicinity, but it

As I had expected, my midday stop at Belmar Historic Park was generally slow.
Avian inactivity was exacerbated, perhaps, by the presence of a young accipiter.
Still, there was a brief burst of activity when a bustle of 10+ bushtits came

On Sat, Nov. 16: saw about 10 hooded mergansers, a pair of golden eyes,
and a sole, mostly brown, Canada goose hybrid hanging with the Canadians.

Gwen apologizes . The goose at Belmar Park is a hybrid not a White-fronted
species. I saw this goose at the park several days ago and the DFO board saw
this bird yesterday.
