I spent a few hours at Rocky Mountain Arsenal NWR yesterday, and I was
blown away by the number of birds present. Maybe that's normal for this
time of year, but I've never seen anything like it. The diversity was low,
but there were huge flocks (in the thousands) of gulls, crows, and
starlings.
