Today, after seeing 11 evening grosbeaks at Fawn Brook (and 0 Rosy Finches), we traveled to Wild Basin, where, at about 10:30 AM, a Northern Pygmy Owl popped up into the dead tree to the right of the bathrooms in the parking area. He moved over into a tree just beside the Sandbeach Lake Trailhead
