Bill Schmoker reports the Ross's Gull is spending today feeding on and around the west marina sandbar and doing very little flying. It is windy at Cherry Creek with waves washing up over the sandbar. Schmoker, Maynard and Wild also report a Red-necked Grebe and a 1st cycle Thayer's Gull.

Folks, Many birders saw and photographed the Ross's Gull today at Cherry Creek. The bird is best seen from either the Lake Loop on the south side, or the west marina dam trail. The bird has been seen several times on the sandbar close to the dam trail. During the past 2 days the gull has
