A flock of 8 Pine Siskins visited my Ken Caryl yard this morning. They were
the first siskins I've had anywhere near my home since July. A look at the
species' map in eBird confirms a relatively sparse presence in recent
weeks. Check out this eBird graph of siskin abundance for Jefferson County.

Hi all,
I have over 300 Cassin's Finches in my yard along with three Evening
Grosbeaks and a hand full of Brown-capped and Gray-crowned Rosy finches
and a single Black-Rosy-Finch
There are also Pine Siskins , House finches, Juncos and House sparrows.
I am goig through tons of Bird seed :)

I have over 2000 rosy finches in my yard in Estes.
The flock is mostly Gray-crowned with a few brown-caps mixed in.
Only 1 Black seen so far.

I have about 400 rosy-finches here are the flock is mostly Gray-crowned
Rosy-finches, with a few Brown-caps sprinkled in.
I have seen no Blacks yet.

With the 18 or so inches of snow we got in Estes, the Rosy-finches came
to my house. It was a small flock of about 250 birds.
The flock was mostly Brown-capped and a few Gray-crowns.
I would suspect they will return tomorrow.

There is about 2000 Rosy finches in my yard in Estes now. The flock is
primarily Brown-capped, but there is at least three Blacks in the flock too.

All day today I have been inundated with Rosy-finches. All three
species, including several Hepburn's. Also have 5 Evening Grosbeaks and
some Pine Sikins around.

The finches have arrived, there are well over 1000 individuals here.
They have yet to land at the feeders due to the large numbers of Clark's
Nutcrakers I have to feed first.
Once the Nutcrackers have been fed, the finches will come down to the
feeders.
