introduced new interface SystemInfo (get an instance from
FileSystemManager).
It allows us to get the currently available schemes
(depending on the found external jars (jcifs, jsch, ...)) and
to query the capabilities of the filesystem.
Ooooh, that's exactly what I need for Chainsaw
any ideas? JSch is a LGPL license, so not sure if that makes it
easier or harder to allow an Apache server to host the jar.
Should I post this somewhere else?

Yes, there has been a few changes under the hood in log4j recently. We'll
have to chat internally to see what we can do, and get back to you.
