it is.
An occasional reboot is necessary, but no sporadic problem with resume. Power
consumption is not great and I wonder if that would be improved by ripping out
some stuff I don't need - I would forgo QtMaze for the odd micro amp ^_~

Please don't polemize!
ROTFL - are you asking me not to bring disagreement here?
Incidentally - you're input on the IMEI topic (and much else), is not
unappreciated (by me), but freeing the GSM firmware is *cool*
Best wishes

To further encourage testing of the freecalypso firmware, I've made a debian
package of loadtools. No special cables or distro needed and minimal disruption
to your everyday Qtmoko system

that was not the issue.
It looks like it may be easier to put a standard distro in a suitable state
for flashing the calypso using the loadtools on phone rather than loadtools on
PC method. If that's so a debian package of loadtools (to use with qtmoko)
would be a useful convenience.

David
Hi
It looks like you will need to convince the maintainer of Qtmoko to
tell you (and the rest of us) how to get his popular distro working
with FreeCalypso tools. Or you could try the special distro which
David Matthews put together - the 2nd version which works without the
special cable
://winterveldt.co.za/leo2moko-p2.html
My thanks to Michael for his efforts so far to free the calypso and also to
Radek for his continued work on QTmoko.

I probably confused things by trying against 3 different smtp servers -
maybe each one needs a different method setting and I previously failed to

If you like, I can post a copy of my qtopiamail.conf, which works with a
