Oddly, just watched part of a show on PBS where they were talking about how much problems they'd had with rodents and that since they started sprinkling chile powder and spraying with a liquid form of it, they'd had a significant reduction in rodent problems. A squirrel is a rodent. Should work

Here's an item from the PHS online newsletter about moss lawns --
definately to be encouraged! (I'm waiting for the Clinton Community Garden
to do a moss garden -- heck, they have everything else in that tiny space! ;-))

Hello,
Question regarding longevity of untreated wood:
- Is it safe to paint the outside of the raised bed to at least provide a
little more protection against weathering? If yes, what type of paint would
be best to use? This of course has the dual purpose of incorporating art into

schools like to paint their boards in wild and fantastic patterns or as a
way to label, not necessarily as a protectant.

Hello, all.
Does anyone know the exact title of the video showing the time-lapse life
cycle of a pumpkin. I saw it at the 2001 ACGA conference during the film
showings. I need to know how to get a copy. Thanks for any help on this!

I don't want to be an alarmist, but I have been treated for a lung

The infection was a mycobacterial infection, though mine was a rare

I'm working with a new community garden that is on a large urban vacant lot,
which the landlord recently offered for a neighborhood garden.
Do any organizations out there have a strong background in forming LandUse
