loosen the castings during this process. To speed-up things up I sometimes put a shop light over the bin and, as you all know, the little critters don't like light. I will try the mesh bag method. I use a lot of worm tea but am never sure what proportion to use with water. -Lydia

Putting down a bed of sand sounds like a good idea. Our paths do flood sometimes; however, they are bordered by raised, mulched areas. Our Supplier of stone screenings said they are called #10 stone in Ohio but may be called something else in other places. Basically they are the finest, as in sm
