David, To answer your question about the use of weed flamers on the grass... I've not used it on bermuda, but it doesn't work well on the grass edges of my own garden, so I'm sure it wouldn't work well on bermuda either. Hope this helps, Sam There is no 'away'... as in, "throw it AWAY"
