Hi: In our community garden we send one email out a week to let gardeners
know we will be harvesting any unpicked, usable harvest that is not picked
on xxx day by xxx time and selling it to local restaurants whose funds are
then put back into the garden budget, or donating them to our kids' produce
A few of our gardeners have veggie neglect. There is a lot of produce
falling to the ground and wasted. Were trying to be careful about policing
people to much. Any suggestions as to how to subtly motivate gardeners or
suggest allowing people to glean for drops for the local pantry?
