hello
was wondering, since compiz.org is both very out of date and not used
at all anymore (except for spam), what's gonna happen to it?
Is it gonna be deleted?

I have similar example. It wasn't always like this, it started in the past
after one of upgrades of compiz (months ago, I think shortly after beryl-compiz
merge). It may be also due to upgrade of Xorg (from 1.2 to 1.3).

Yes. Try the git version of the intel driver. I've had a collegue report
that this resolved the xinerama issues he was having (non-compiz) on
Mandriva.
