Looks like I need to revert the fix for this bug AGAIN because it has caused a regression for the third time: bug 963470. The only remaining fix for this bug is to rewrite the modifier handling code in compiz to not use XkbStateNotify at all. Because that is the root cause of this bug. However

I was able to reproduce the actual buggy behaviour and recorded a video of it. Now normaly, pressing super doesn't open the dash. But, when I press ALT+F2 the command window comes up. Pressing ESC and leaving it gives me the oportunity to press Super - and it works. It works as long, until
