they disabled Sync to VBlank by default. Please try enabling it in

I also seeing this problem. Nautilus is the one that always behaves this
way.
This happens launching Nautilus:
1. Using the mouse on the launcher.
2. Using the Unity shorcut (super+1)
3. Using the dashboard to lauch any folder (Home, Pictures, etc).

The other plugins are unmaintained and not part of the original

Thanks a lot for reporting this, however since this seems to be an issue
with the way Compiz, or at least some other part of that stack, manages
the contents of the different workspaces, this does not qualify as a

Screen Controls are Crazy since a recent UpGrade, so a working DeskTo

Numerous Bugs are making the DeskTop crazy .
1) No minimise/maximise buttons available on any Screen.
This is similar to bugs :

- 198392
- 188084
but not exactly the same.
>From this, for example, the Downloads display box cannot be
removed
I set Effects > Animations > Minimize animation to "None" in CCSM and
now I don't have blank white windows.

Much slower OpenGL frame rates with unityshell loaded, than plain
comp
We spoke already on the forums about this issue a few weeks ago now. I
was hoping to see some action on this bug. But yes, this bug hits me too
and unfortunately renders the desktop unusable. I can generate logs on
request as well :)
Actually, I'm a bit surprised to see Gutigen having this problem
Same problem here. Tested with Nvidia drivers 290.40, 290.49, 290.53, 302.11
(and some latest X packages from xorg-edgers).
Every drivers was tested in fresh installation. Changing any settings
(Composite and OpenGL changes etc) in CCSM helps for like 10seconds to maybe
2min of work in Unity3D,
Tentatively reassigning to libgdu, as this seems complete and valid:
